Noel has always been a community activist, has campaigned for:
o The Rail line to Dunboyne – will be completed in 2010
o The Village centre – founder of Tidy Towns and DTO involvement
o Fundraising for “Stepping Stones” special needs centre in Kilcloon
o Sports – actively involved in all sports including Athletics and has secured council funds for GAA
o The Flood plain – secured funding to allow major improvement works
o Housing – active in securing affordable housing (Clonee)
o FAS – local training services
Since elected:
Elected to Meath County Council in June 2004, Noel has served the community and has a proven track record in getting things done.
Noel’s record stands for itself. He has proven that honest hard work and accountable representation can deliver for the good of the community at large.
Noel has restored our Village Park
The Train line will be here in 2010
Noel has secured the removal of HGVs from the village of Dunboyne once the ring road is completed in 2010
Noel has improved school facilities for our ever increasing population
Noel has engaged with local police management and the Minister for Justice to ensure effective community policing
Noel has been actively involved in ensuring 400 new local jobs will be created in the coming year. HMH are locating their new European R&D centre in Moygaddy Park.
